The problem

Home-service businesses — pool, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, handyman — live or die on the phone. Most calls to a small operation still go to voicemail after hours, during a job, or the moment the owner is elbow-deep in a repair. Every missed call is a customer who moves to the next name on the search results page. Website visitors have the same problem in a different shape: they land on a site, have a question, and leave instead of filling out a contact form.

The system

Voice, chat, scoring, and a briefing — one system

Yova AI pairs a voice agent with a website chat agent, both trained on the client business's own services, hours, pricing rules, and escalation paths. Every conversation is captured as a structured lead record — not just a transcript — and scored so the owner can tell a ready buyer from a tire-kicker at a glance. Bookable clients get real Calendly slots offered inside the conversation instead of a promise to call back. Every morning, the owner gets a call-back briefing: the leads worth a callback today, ranked, with enough context to dial and go.

Underneath, the system runs on a serverless API layer with a multi-tenant embeddable widget, so one client's chat agent is fully isolated from another's. Each client gets its own knowledge base with a review workflow — the agent doesn't publish new facts about a business until a human has approved them. Prompt caching keeps per-conversation API cost down, which matters at real conversation volume in a way it never does in a demo.
